Cookies

Our websites use so-called "cookies." Cookies are small text files that do no harm to your device. They are stored either temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (permanent cookies) on your device. Session cookies are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Permanent cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them yourself or an automatic solution is made through your web browser.

Some third-party cookies may also be stored on your device when you enter our site (third-party cookies). These allow us or you to use certain third-party services (e.g. cookies for processing payment services).

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of this website.

If cookies from third parties or for analysis purposes are used, we will inform you about this separately in the context of this data protection declaration and, if necessary, ask for consent.

Google Analytics

This website uses functions of the web analytics service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies." These are text files that are stored on your computer and that allow an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

The storage of Google Analytics cookies and the use of this analysis tool are based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the analysis of user behavior in order to optimize both its website and its advertising. If a corresponding consent has been requested (e.g. consent to the storage of cookies), the processing takes place exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 para.1 lit. a GDPR; the consent is revocable at any time.

IP anonymisation

We have activated the IP anonymization function on this website. As a result, your IP address will be truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area prior to transmission to the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with any other data held by Google.

You can prevent the storage of cookies by a corresponding setting of your browser software; however, we point out that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (incl. Further data is not collected or collected on a voluntary basis. We use this data exclusively for sending the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties.

The processing of the data entered in the newsletter registration form takes place exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke your consent to the storage of the data, the email address and their use for sending the newsletter at any time, for example via the "unsubscribe" link in the newsletter. The legality of the data processing operations that have already taken place remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data stored by you with us for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter will be stored by us or the newsletter service provider until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and deleted from the newsletter distribution list after unsubscribing from the newsletter. Data that has been stored with us for other purposes remain unaffected.

This serves both your interest and our interest in complying with the legal requirements when sending newsletters (legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). The storage in the blacklist is not temporary. You can object to the storage if your interests outweigh our legitimate interest.

YouTube with extended data protection

This website incorporates videos from YouTube. The site is operated by Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

We use YouTube in Extended Privacy Mode. According to YouTube, this mode means that YouTube does not store information about visitors to this website before they watch the video. However, the extended Privacy Mode does not necessarily prevent the transfer of data to YouTube partners. For example, regardless of whether you watch a video, YouTube connects to the Google DoubleClick network.

As soon as you start a YouTube video on this website, a connection is established to YouTube's servers. This tells the YouTube server which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged into your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to associate your browsing behaviour directly with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.

YouTube may also store various cookies on your device after you start a video. With the help of these cookies, YouTube can obtain information about visitors to this website. This information is used, among other things, to collect video statistics, improve usability and prevent fraud. The cookies remain on your device until you delete them.

If necessary, further data processing operations may be triggered after the start of a YouTube video, over which we have no influence.

The use of YouTube is in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offers. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. If a corresponding consent has been requested (e.g. consent to the storage of cookies), the processing takes place exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 par. 1 lit. a GDPR; the consent is revocable at any time.

Further information about data protection at YouTube can be found in their privacy policy athttps://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de.

Handling of candidate data

We offer you the opportunity to apply to us (e.g. by email, by post or via online application form). In the following, we inform you about the scope, purpose and use of your personal data collected as part of the application process. We assure you that the collection, processing and use of your data will be carried out in accordance with applicable data protection law and all other statutory provisions and that your data will be treated strictly confidential.

Scope and purpose of data collection

If you send us an application, we process your associated personal data (e.g. contact and communication data, application documents, notes in the context of job interviews, etc.) as far as this is necessary to decide on the foundation of an employment relationship. The legal basis for this is § 26 BDSG-neu under German law (initiation of an employment relationship), Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (general initiation of contract) and - if you have given your consent - Art. 6 par. 1 lit. a GDPR. The consent is revocable at any time. Your personal data will only be passed on within our company to persons who are involved in the processing of your application.

If the application is successful, the data submitted by you will be stored in our data processing systems on the basis of § 26 BDSG neu and Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR for the purpose of carrying out the employment relationship.

Data retention period

If we are unable to make you a job offer, if you decline a job offer or withdraw your application, we reserve the right to retain the data transmitted by you on the basis of our legitimate interests (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR) for up to 6 months from the end of the application process (rejection or withdrawal of the application). After that, the data will be deleted and the physical application documents destroyed. The retention serves in particular for evidence purposes in the event of a legal dispute. If it is clear that the data will be required after the expiry of the 6-month period (e.g. due to an imminent or pending legal dispute), a deletion will only take place if the purpose for further retention no longer applies.

A longer storage may also take place if you have given your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR) or if statutory retention obligations preclude deletion.
