A 14-meter-long lifting device recently left the halls of euroTECH Handling GmbH. The vacuum specialist supplied the device to Ziemex, a company based in Sarre-Union Cedex, France. The large eT-Hover lifting device is able to lift panels with a total length of 16 to 18 meters and swivel them through 90°.
The eT-Hover that was delivered to Ziemex measures exactly 14 meters. Ziemex designs, manufactures and installs high-quality containers and systems made of steel, stainless steel and aluminum for a wide range of industrial sectors. Very large metal plates have to be handled during production. This is where the French company put its trust in the wealth of experience of euroTECH Handling GmbH.
To lift slabs with a maximum length of 18 meters, the total length of the device is 14 meters. The telescopic lifting beams can be shortened to a total length of 10 meters so that the eT-Hover can also be used for shorter panels. With the help of its 52 BSP 200 RL suction plates, the device can carry loads of up to two tons. The hydraulic swivel drive swivels the plates to be lifted by 90°. This allows the panels to be transported both vertically and horizontally. Panels made of glass, plastic or wood can also be handled with the device.
The eT-Hover lifting device is operated using a cable remote control with a cable length of ten meters. All important functions such as suction, ventilation and swivel are integrated into this. A blow-off device is integrated for quick release of the load. The eT-Hover has two separate and monitored suction circuits and can therefore also be used on construction sites.
The suction cups can be moved on the crossbar and can be individually shut off via a ball valve. The crossbars are also adjustable. The suction cups are mounted on the crossbars with cross clamps and suspended on springs. Like all euroTECH lifting devices, the lifting device has several safety and warning devices in accordance with DIN EN 13155 to prevent incorrect operation and hazards.
